Detailed Itinerary
Day 1: Arrival in Nairobi, Kenya
Once you land at Jomo Kenyatta international airport, your safari guide will be there waiting to welcome you and drive you to your hotel in Nairobi where you will spend your first night of the 12 days adventure safari.
Day 2-3: Exploring Amboseli National Park
The best place to see the majestic African Elephants in large numbers. Explore the famous home of the elephants set against the stunning backdrop of Mt. Kilimanjaro. Amboseli national park has amazing landscape views that are a photographer’s paradise.
You will go on game drives in this picturesque park to view its abundant wildlife that inhabits its different habitats. Look out for giraffes, zebras, mongoose, dik-dik, leopards, wild dogs, cheetahs, hyrax and a rich birdlife of 600 different species.
Day 4: Transfer to Arusha/Moshi in Tanzania
One more morning game drive as you exit Amboseli National Park and transfer to Arusha / Moshi in Tanzania via the border. Reach your hotel in the afternoon, check in have lunch and spend the rest of the day relaxing and gearing up for Mt. Kilimanjaro.
Day 5-11: Mount Kilimanjaro Climb
The mountain adventure begins on day 5. Mt. Kilimanjaro has different routes that climbers can use to reach the summit at Uhuru peak (5,895 meters). Different scenery, difficulty levels, lengths and acclimatization abilities.
Lemosho, Marangu, Machame, Rongai, Northern circuit are among the routes you can choose from. On day 11, your safari driver will meet you at Mweka gate, pick you up and drive you to the hotel in Arusha.
Day 12: End of safari
After breakfast you will be driven to the airport to catch your flight back home.
