If you wish to trek Mount Kilimanjaro, it is highly advised that you fly into Kilimanjaro International Airport as this is the quickest and most convenient option.
That being said, this does not imply that alternative approaches to Mount Kilimanjaro are inferior or unusable.
Make travel arrangements with your tour operator, book your trip to Nairobi’s Jomo Kenyatta International Airport. Drive south to the border, and enjoy a portion of Kenya’s natural landscape.
Other than Kilimanjaro International Airport and Dar es Salaam International Airport, there are several entry into Tanzania. Among them are Burundi, Rwanda, Zambia, Mozambique, Malawi, Burundi, Uganda through the Mutukula border, and Malawi.
Tourists may choose any of these options provided they meet all immigration criteria.

An email verifying your VISA status will be sent to you once the government VISA agency has processed your information. Using the same portal, you can also check the status of your VISA.
It’s crucial that you submit your visa application as soon as possible—at least 45 days before the date of departure.
Since this application may take more than 60 days to process, it is imperative that you apply as soon as possible. Tanzania Immigration recommends that you book a ticket before your referral visa is approved.
