Whole day game drive in Maasai Mara. The park is known for the great wildebeest migration that happens every year around June -July in the Mara region. Today we drive out with hopes of catching a glimpse of the migrants on the move. Millions of wildebeests followed by thousands of zebras and hundreds of gazelles and other antelopes make this great trek in search of greener pastures. We shall drive towards the great Mara River and with luck, you could be able to witness a thrilling encounter among the wildebeests, the river and the predators waiting eagerly both in the river (Nile crocodiles) and on land (lions, leopards, cheetahs and hyenas) for the prey. Enjoy the thrill.

Even during the time when the migration is quiet, Serengeti national park is still teeming with lots of wildlife to see in its vast plains, you will go for game drives in the central region of Serengeti, the Seronera region. This area teems with an abundance of wildlife all year through. Elephants, hippos, buffalos, the endangered black rhinos, lions, leopards, hyenas, gazelles, topi, impalas, dik-dik, cheetahs among others. Optional activity for this day; Hot air ballooning safari over the Serengeti plains

Early morning, you will exit Serengeti National Park for Arusha town. You will go out for shopping once you reach Arusha. Buy anything you will need while on your climb to Kilimanjaro’s summit like snacks and energy bars, an extra pair of gloves or a water bottle and also buy some souvenirs.

You will have lunch and then continue to Moshi town where you will spend the night near Kilimanjaro National Park.

Day 7-14: Climbing Mountain Kilimanjaro

For these 8 days of your 15 days safari, you will be on your quest to conquer the great Mt. Kilimanjaro. 8 days on Kilimanjaro gives your body enough time to adapt to the high altitude and conditions on the mountain providing higher chances of summit success.

For this trip we highly recommend Lemosho route and or the Northern Circuit route. Both routes ascend from the West and descend at Mweka gate in the South.

Both have great sceneries; they are among the most beautiful routes on Kilimanjaro and with high summit success rates because of their high possibilities of acclimatization.

On day 14, you will drive back to your hotel in Moshi, have that long awaited shower and continue with the celebrations, you summited the tallest mountain on the African continent.

Day 15: End of Safari

Your 15 days safari comes to an end today with a drop off at the airport for your flight back home. Asante (Thank you).
